Eric's Week 7 Winners

A 3-2 week got me back in the black last week, so here's to more success being a degenerate!  Here's what I have for Week 7.

Arizona +3 @ NY Giants

There's always at least one toilet bowl that I end up betting on, so let's get this one out of the way.  The Giants are getting healthier and have generally looked like a better team than Arizona this year.  I think the standard three points is insufficient for the Cardinals, so I'm taking the G-Men to cover this one.

The Pick: NY Giants -3

Minnesota -2 @ Detroit

The Lions are coming off of a tough ref-induced loss to the Packers and are on a short week, which compelled me to take the Vikings in a squeaker when making game picks during the week.  I'm not fond of laying points in potential squeakers, so I'm actually going to take these points for the Lions as a home dog.

The Pick: Detroit +2

LA Rams -3 @ Atlanta

I made waves with my lack of confidence in the Rams this week, and I'll continue to do so here.  This is being painted as a "get right" game for Los Angeles, but with the way the Rams are playing, I could make the case it's a "get right" game for the Falcons as well.  Atlanta will score on the Rams, and I'm not sold that LA can start fast enough to prevent this from being a back-and-forth affair resulting in a last-second field goal at the gun.  So with that all being taken into consideration, I'm going to snatch these points.

The Pick: Atlanta +3

LA Chargers +2.5 @ Tennessee

You thought we were done with the toilet bowl matchups for the week, didn't you, Squidward?  I'm going down for doubles here because, for as bad as the Chargers have looked, there's no way they should be catching points to the Tennessee Tannehills, even on the road.  I don't care if his wife is hot.  The dude can't play.  I'll take my chances with the Chargers and the points.

The Pick: LA Chargers +2.5

Baltimore +3 @ Seattle

The Ravens are in serious danger of being branded with the f-word on this week's show, so for Evan's sake, I hope they perform.  A three point spread implies that these teams are on equal footing in a neutral environment.  I think even the most optimistic Ravens fans would have a hard time squaring that.  Baltimore's secondary is quite flammable, even with the addition of Marcus Peters.  Lamar Jackson has been a revelation this year, but he's not Russell Wilson.  Not yet, anyway.  Sorry, hon.  I'm taking the MVP to cover this line.

The Pick: Seattle -3

Week 6 Results:: 3-2 (+0.73 units)

2019 Results: 16-14 (+0.55 units)
