We’re bringing back confidence points again this year after a fun 2019 season. Cory faded down the stretch as Evan walked away with both the picks and confidence titles and we’re ready to run it back.
A refresher for those who don’t know how it works, every week we will pick every game and assign confidence points from 1 (least confident) up to 16 (most confident). In weeks with teams on bye, the top points will be reduced, so 1 point will always be assigned to the game with the least confidence.
In addition, we are inviting our listeners and readers to join in the fun this year and send their picks to us each week. Just send an email every week before kickoff of TNF to thesportsballers@gmail.com and at the end of the week’s slate of games, we will tabulate the results and publish a weekly and season-long leaderboard. If you miss the Thursday deadline, just skip that game and send your picks in before Sunday! We’ll still count them, you’ll just miss out on some points.
We’re all excited for the season to begin after a very long off-season, so let’s get to it!
